32/25 From the Hague to the Himalayas - A Global Call for Climate Justice Begins Here
Posted 2 months ago
On July 23, 2024, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) issued a historic advisory opinion affirming that states have legal obligations to prevent climate harm. This is a turning point for climate justice, reparations, and the rights of future generations.
In response, the Climate Hub Forum (CHF) - a Global South climate think tank, in collaboration with the Faculty of Sciences, PMAS-Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi organized High-Level Policy Dialogue:
This gathering was more than a seminar; it was a diplomatic moment, a South-led response, and a systemic call to action. From legal frameworks to regenerative finance, intergenerational equity to nature-based solutions, the dialogue united policymakers, youth leaders, academics, private sector innovators, and civil society advocates under one shared vision: Justice. Equity. Earth Rights.
Greening.live congratulates all those involved in this important initiative.
